The Poetry & Prose of John Davison
John Davison regularly sent his photos, poems and thoughts to I’m From Yorkshire’s Facebook page, they were greatly anticipated by all and put a smile on everyone’s face.
After hearing that John had died in February 2019, we feel it’s important to celebrate the work that he created over the years.
It was impossible to share all the work he sent to the Facebook page but what was shared was extremely popular within the Yorkshire community, some reaching “viral” status with millions of people seeing it.
This section of our website has been created as a dedication to John and features all the poems and thoughts John sent us.
He was a proud Yorkshire man, a talented wordsmith and a deep thinker – he will be truly missed by all.
