Snooker Legend set to turn up the baize

Crucible legend, Steve Davis is set to send revelers “snooker loopy” at this year’s Tramlines Festival in Sheffield. The 58-year old 6-time World Champion turned DJ will line up alongside the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Goldie, Kelis and Jurassic 5 at the event in July.

In recent years, Davis has enjoyed a musical renaissance, djing in clubs around the country under the name, “Thundermuscle.” His passion for experimental house and techno are evident in his DJ sets, which has attracted the attention of Tramlines organisers. He will be spinning his tunes as part of the “Hybrid Vigour” event” at the Millennium Gallery on Saturday 23rd July.

Further additions to the musical line up for the festival weekend include, US rock band, The Dandy Warhols, upcoming urban act, Big Narstie, along with a whole host of other exciting new artists.

The Tramlines Festival takes place at various venues in Sheffield between Friday 22nd-Sunday 24th July 2016. Tickets cost £42 for the entire weekend and are available here.
